I love Looking At Myself

Emily loves to look in a mirror. Yesterday when I took these pics was the first time I ever saw her smile at herself! There is recognition that there is a person in that mirror! It was so cute. She kept smiling at herself!!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at our house this year consisted of us opening one present! And that one present had to be PJ's so everyone could look presentable on Christmas Day Morning! I of course managed to buy Matt's PJ's tooooooo big and so they look ridiculous on him! I did get a good laugh out of it though =) We also set out Milk and Cookies for Santa and an apple for his Reindeer (since I forgot to buy carrots!). Thanks to Aunt Kelly for sending us the plates!!! Will have to see if Santa and his reindeer ate the cookies, milk and apple!

Emily's First Flower...

Today I was able to put Emily's First Barret in! Isn't she cute with it?!

Emily is starting to sit up so well with the help of something. I keep thinking that we should get her a bumpo seat since she loves to sit up. Matt said not yet...

Hamburgaler.....

On Christmas Eve, we decided to have hamburgers on the grill and Matt made the patties up and set them on the counter next to the sink. Well, guess what happened?! Maggie decided to help herself to the hamburgers and ate one. Of course, we didn't notice until Matt walked by and said to me, "Did you do something with one of the burgers?" Ummm..me thinking, What in the world would I do with a raw hamburger?! My response, "No, why would I do something with them?" His response, "You must be joking!" My response, "No, I am not, why do you ask?" His response, "because one of the patties is missing!" My response, "WHAT?!?!" Then we start looking for Maggie, and of course she is downstairs hiding out in her crate. So I call her up and it doesn't take much for her to realize she is in trouble! She gets a guilty look on her face and keeps trying to head back downstairs, but Matt shut the door so she couldn't! So she had to fess up! So, we ate two hamburgers instead of three! Lesson learned: Don't leave food on the counter where Maggie can get it!

All that snow...

Was gone on Sunday.....

but we do have a little bit more that came in Sunday night and early Monday morning. So, we at least had a White Christmas!
