Happy Birthday Emily

Alright so I realize this is early, but my parents have already bought Emily her birthday presents! They wanted to buy her her present early so they could play with them with her before they leave! Ok holy run on sentence! Hope it made sense, but anyways Emily loves them! She really likes the one that she gets pushed in! We had a great debate over what car to buy her for her birthday because i had seen a car that is like the one she got, but it had doors and a sturdier handle that you could push them in by first steps. But the car was only a push type car (so really a car stroller) and the bike that we got Emily did more and so Mom wanted to buy that one for her. So at Wal-mart it was like 48 and I told Mom that i was going to Target and let me look there. Well, lucky duck, I found it on clearance for 22.00 dollars and then I found the push one! well, there was no price tag and it took a long time to figure it out but it turns out it was 12.48 on clearance! So, I bought it too. Told my mom I got both of those for less than what she was going to pay for the one at Wal-mart! So, Emily got some birthday presents already!

Now, anyone want to donate to the finish the basement fund, to store all these toys =0)....

Emily stealing...

Megan's cookie! While we were trying to take a picture of all three babies (at the same time) Emily was trying to steal Megan's cookie! It was too funny! Megan's mom was gracious enough to give Emily a cookie and made her happy! Does anyone realize how hard it is to try and get three babies to look at you for a picture?! It is about impossible!!!

Crashed after a morning of playing!!!

Children's Museum of Indy

This past weekend we went to the World's Largest children's Museum in Indianapolis! We met a couple of other moms from my online mom group who have babies that were born in September also. It was so much fun! We will definitely being going back when Emily is a little older and she can appreciate it a lot more! One of the moms we met basically grew up in the museum as her mom worked there for 15 years! Wouldn't that be a great place to grow up!

Sorry...

That I have been so slow in posting new pics and items of thought. This weekend probably won't be much better as we are going to Indy!!! And not for the Brickyard 400, though matt questioned why I picked this week to go to Indy! Ummm...like I realized the Brickyard 400 was going on this weekend! Will have some neat pics to show of that hopefully..we have never been there.

I promise I will finish Maine Pics and video and then the Toledo Zoo...

2nd Attempt at Feeding...

Getting into Trouble...

Auntie Su has these bookshelves on the ends of her island where she keeps all her cookbooks and such. Well of course, Emily thought these were great! So she would go over and try to pull books off the shelf! It was a constant battle to keep her from playing with those books. Not sure if we ever won that one or not...

Some of the new people Emily met

Uncle Brent and Emily...secretly Emily had no idea what to think of Uncle Brent! Every night he came home, he would want to play with Emily and she would just look at him like, who are you?!
Auntie Su! She really loved her Auntie Su while we were there!

Of course, Grandpie...

And Grammy...

Rita and Condi, thought I had a better picture of them and I don't. They are friends of my parents!

Notice What Emily is EAting?!!

Can you see what Emily has in her hand in these pics? She is EATING a LIME!!!! Yep that is right a Lime. When we got there, Hollan and I went up and made margaritas. Well, we stuck limes on the glasses like we were supposed to and Grandma gave Emily her lime! And Emily sucked on it until I took it away! So, the joke is now that grandma gave Emily a lime soaked in tequila!!! She apparently likes limes and takes after her Shoe Aunt, Aunt Becca, because she LOVES limes too!!!

Cousin Hollan's first attempt at feeding Emily lunch

So, we arrived at Su and Brent's house on Sunday afternoon. And of course Emily is hungry, so Cousin Hollan, very readily agrees to feed Emily. And this is the result...
See the food on her ear?!

Cousin Hollan and Emily...
Have to give props to Hollan though for trying and she did get better through out the week!
