Avalanche Bay

So, I took Emily to Avalanche Bay for Friday day and Saturday day! I really like Avalanche Bay for Em's age because you can take your child down on some of the bigger rides/slides which you can't do at Great Wolf Lodge. The food is also more reasonably priced and the room was cheaper. So, all in all it was well worth the price and Emily loves the purple slide which is a big one that you climb the tower too and go down! She also enjoys the splashtower!

Only Emily...

So, we went to Avalanche Bay this weekend and only my daughter would want to nap :) So this is her nest of towels and blankets ready for her to sleep! Now the question is, will she????!!!!!?????

I LOVE technology

So, just a quick update, I have now managed to connect my phone to Emily's Blog!!! And I use my phone all the time to take pictures of things that we are doing, as it is so convenient! So, what that means, is I will continue to take pics using my cameras, but you will also start to see a lot more random pictures of Emily, because I can upload them directly to her blog now! Now granted, the pictures aren't as good as quality, considering the camera in my Blackberry is only like 2 megapixels right now, but it gives you a better and more current look into Emily's life!

Stay posted, a lot more will come :)

So, we tried out some bikes tonight at Toys R Us. Emily liked them, but I think we may skip the trike and go straight to the bike next year!

So, Emily's blog will now start having a lot more random pictures show up, now that I can send pictures from my phone directly to her blog! Yeah for technology! So, be prepared for a lot of pictures now!

Barbie

The Children's Museum had a special Barbie exhibit. From the beginning of barbie to the current barbie. It was an interesting experience. Em of course fell asleep through this exhibit, but it was interesting for me.

I remember these barbies! I even believe I had that stage ;)

Putting her to work this winter

One winter day, I went out to shovel the snow and so of course Ms. Em went with me. She decided that she wanted to snowblow that day, so got her car out and "snowblowed" the driveway. She was so proud.

The funny thing is her snowsuit from the previous winter fit her! I was amazed. So, we didn't have to buy new snowpants this year! Which was nice!!!!! Got our monies worth out of that one!!!

Pics and Update

is growing like a weed and talking more and more everyday! She is turning into such a happy baby girl and she is starting to become a normal 2 year old at times. She is starting to say, " No" and yell at you, which we are trying to kick that habit. She is also starting to throw temper tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants, which is quite interesting. She also is starting to pout and show her stubborn side, especially when she is angry with you!

We have gone on a couple of adventures since I posted last. The most recent one was Emily and I went to Washington, DC and Hershey, PA! I decided to drive it and was a little nervous about a 2 year old in the car for 8 hours, but she did beautifully. More pics to come on that!

For now though I want to finish the Indy Children's Museum Pictures from December!
