All fixed...

The technical difficulties are over now. So, please look down below for the missing pictures. They are all there now! Have a Great weekend! We will be in Muskegon this weekend, so no update until Sunday night at the earliest!

Pool Fun

This was the first time we used the pool that Grandma bought. It was a hot humid day, but Emily still had a runny nose, so Grandma didn't take her in but I did. She seemed to enjoy it, but didn't want to keep her hat on =)

Emily Trying To crawl...

Yes, this video is now old as she is an expert crawler, but this was her frustration when she was trying to learn how to do it! Watch for more video on her crawling as it has progressed!

New Pool

Grandma bought Emily a baby pool after I told her what fun Emily had in the pool! Emily seems to like this one, though right after it was bought it became really stormy and rainy and then cold. So we haven't used it too much since then!

Happy 9 month Birthday Emily

Emily is 9 months old today! Happy 9 month birthday baby!

Emily at 9 months:

1. Emily has started pulling herself up now! She did it for the first time on June 7 at the Horse Race Track! She loves to do it now!

2. Emily also now sits up independently. She has become a master at it!

3. She has also started "walking" when you hold her hands. Before all she would do is be a very straight legged baby, now she actually picks up her feet and walks!!!! Soon enough she will be walking on her own!

4. Emily also started swimming lessons today! She seems to like them so far, I will let you know at the end of the two weeks what she thought of it!

Mmmm...Hair Ties...

Emily loves to eat her hair ties!

More Pool fun

We went back to the pool on June 1 with the Peterson's and this time Daddy came along. First we went to the park and had a picnic lunch and then we went to the pool and went swimming again! Emily again had a blast!

Haileigh and Emily in the pool...

Our friends, Doug, Lori, Haileigh and Peyton, came to visit the weekend of May 31 and we went to the pool that day and had a great time!!! We discovered that Emily loves the pool and splashes and laughs! We also went to Ft. Wayne and went shopping and to Sonic..mmmm...Sonic.

Diva-licious

Emily's Diva pose. This was the pose that she was doing for quite awhile. That was before she learned how to sit up......

Yellow Rose of Michigan...

I have decided that I love Emily in Yellow! She is too cute and the bow that is in her hair was brand new when I took this picture.

Milestones at 8 1/2 months

Emily is starting to hit some major milestones now:

1. Emily can now crawl really well. She is "army crawling" and it is sooo funny the look she gets on her face sometimes. She is a very determined girl! Look for video coming soon.

2. Emily has also mastered the art of rolling and sometimes she chooses to roll instead of crawling! We tell her she is cheating when she does that!

3. Emily can now sit up by herself! She started doing it yesterday, June 4 but really mastered it today! We finally figured out how she does it too...look for video coming soon.

4. Emily isn't that big of a fan of fresh fruit so far. She loves canned peaches and pears, but isn't too fond of fresh cantaloupe, doesn't like watermelon (she spits it out of her mouth), but loves bananas and avacado slices and peas (yuck). Planning on trying blueberries, apples, and grapes soon.

5. Emily LOVES the pool! She loves to splash and play in the water. We took Emily to the pool this past weekend and it was soo funny! Look for video coming soon and pics.

6. I swear and Matt heard it too that Emily said Dada one night. It hapened when I passed her to him so he could put her to bed and clear as day she said dada. But since that time she hasn't said it since! We also swear we have heard her say "yeah", but again nothing since. So, I can't decide if that counts as her first word or not. I am leanning towards no, because she had no idea she was saying it (i think!)

Look How Cute I am...

Look how cute Ms. Emily is! Ok, so the child did not NEED anymore clothes, but I went to the children's place outlet on Memorial Day and bought her the new short sleeved sweater and I love how cute she is in it!!!! Look for her 9 month pics soon in a similar sweater but in yellow and with a yellow skirt!!!!!

She loves to play with all of her hair pretties!!!!!!

New toy...

Emily got an Exersaucer from Grandma and Mommy! She LOVES it!!!!!! She gets soo excited about it, a great investment! Oh yeah and she is sucking on a carrot in the pics, but Grandpa yelled at me and said she would choke. I told him she couldm't eat it, so how could she joke, it was longer than her hands and she doesn't have teeth to be able to break it!!!! I took it away from her to make him happy though!
