This is the presidential box, that President Lincoln was shot in. The furnishings are still original and nothing has been touched since his passing. It is also interesting to note, that the distance from the box to the stage wasn't all that far, so when you hear that John Wilkes Booth jumped on the stage after, it is completely feasible and not that difficult!
